We fill up fast, so please book early! We only schedule D.Y.I. weddings or events between June and September. If you need flowers outside of these dates, please see our Buyer's Guide For The Public here.

Local farm fresh flowers choices are, as always, dependent on availability due to weather, bloom times, previous orders, cranky old Mother Nature, etc. We may sometimes have to substitute one flower type for another. It's best to place a wish list as early as possible, by email please. Our minimum wedding flower order is 400.00 and a $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date, which will go towards your flower purchase.

You may schedule a personal visit to place a customized cut order and meet your flowers in person. These are done the Monday or Tuesday prior to your wedding or event date (assuming your wedding is on a weekend) between the hours of 9AM – 3PM. There is a 4 person limit. We will spend up to an hour walking through the fields with you to help you select flowers for your wedding. There is a 50.00 fee for this service.

~Please spent some time on our website so you have a good understanding of what we offer.

~Schedule as soon as possible. We schedule our weddings and events on a first-come basis. Your wedding or event is not scheduled until we have made sure the date is available and you have placed a deposit of $100.00 to hold your date. ~Some flowers hold in a vase longer than others. Most, but not all, of our flowers have a vase life of 5 or more days. Select your flowers accordingly.

~Purchase a bit more than you think you will need. Stems break, get cut too short, etc.

~We fill our cutting orders on a first-come basis. (For example, if we have 2 weddings booked for your day, the couple who gets their cutting order in first will have first choice of flower selection).
You can change your cutting order up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up date and time, as long as the flowers are available.

~We recommend picking up your flower 1-3 days prior to your wedding. Please see “Caring For your Flowers” here.

~Your flowers will be grouped by variety, generally in 10 stem bunches.

~Your flowers will have floral food in the water. We will send extra floral food with you.

~You must bring sparkling clean buckets for the ride home. Bring more than you think you will need. As a very general rule, 40-50 stems will fit into a bucket. A mix of 2 gallon buckets for flowers such as dahlias and lisianthus, and 5 gallon buckets for flowers such as sunflowers and amaranth work well. We can supply buckets if absolutely necessary - $5.00 each for floral buckets, $8.00 each for 5 gallon buckets.

~Be sure you have enough room in your vehicle!

~You can change your time and date to pick up your flowers up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment as long as we have the desired time slot available. We understand this is a busy time and we will be as flexible as possible. Please understand if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled pick up or cut order appointment, we may have to reschedule.

~Always keep your flowers cool and hydrated.

~We are not a greenhouse or a florist. Our flowers are available only in season.

~We do not do floral arranging, but can recommend designers and florists who do.

~Final payment is due when you come to pick up your order. We accept cash, Venmo or checks made out to Michigan Flower Farm. We do accept credit cards via Paypal with an additional 3% processing fee.

~We do not deliver or ship flowers.
