Dahlia vase life varies between 3-7 days. As a general rule, the larger they are, the shorter the vase life. The best thing you can do to keep them happy is to change your water daily and use floral food. Second best- keep them cool.

September 29, 2021 It's nice to have cooler days to cut flowers. There's not so much pressure to get them out of the field early and rushed into the cooler.

The process for most flowers is cut, strip the foliage, bunch, hydrate, place in buckets of flower food and get them into the cooler.
